For many years, I have been guiding managers and entrepreneurs on their journey to embrace more leadership and less management.
Because I know from personal experience what it feels like to get lost in the daily grind and lose sight of what truly matters – the people, your own passion, and the vision that once laid the foundation for your business and values.
What drives me is the deep belief that small and medium-sized businesses are the backbone of our society.
Entrepreneurs are the true innovators, with the potential to make a positive impact on our world.
However, they often face the challenge of balancing operational tasks with strategic leadership.
That’s where I come in.
I help you break free from daily obligations so you can focus on what truly matters: shaping your business, inspiring your employees, and ultimately creating more time for the things that are most important to you – whether in your professional or personal life.
My approach is hands-on and rooted in my own experiences as an entrepreneur and leader.
Values such as freedom, tolerance, transparency, and integrity are always at the heart of my work.
It’s not just about providing you with methods and tips.
More importantly, I want to help you question your own leadership habits and discover new ways that truly move you and your business forward.
I understand that leadership is a journey – one that is often challenging but also incredibly rewarding.
On this journey, I support you with advice, practical solutions, and, above all, a listening ear and honest feedback.
Together, we will work on helping you grow not only as an entrepreneur but also as a person.
If you are ready to take your leadership to the next level and finally regain control of your business and your time, I look forward to getting to know you and working with you.
For many years, I served as the managing partner of my own high-tech company as well as the appointed managing director of a public corporation and a family business.
By training, I am an electrical engineer. After earning my doctorate, I co-founded a high-tech company in Aachen with a partner in 1995.
The company grew steadily, building a global distribution network and employing 20 team members.
In 2001, my partner and I sold our start-up company to a global mechanical engineering corporation with 70,000 employees.
I spent nine years there in middle management, eventually taking responsibility for 350 employees worldwide.
Why I chose to become self-employed again in 2009 and why I now focus, together with my team, on small and medium-sized businesses is something I explain in this video.
I am happily married and have two grown sons.
My wife and I live in Aachen, where we share our home with two dogs. Thanks to them, I manage to get up from my desk at least once or twice a day, get moving, and do something for my health.
What else? I enjoy a good glass of wine, play a bit of piano, and have a passion for traveling – especially to Africa.
